About Darts Match Centre
Darts Match Centre is a free web darts scoring app for casual games, pub leagues, bot challenges, rankings, achievements and live scoreboards.
What it is
Darts Match Centre is a browser-based darts scoring hub for casual nights, pub teams and friendly competitions. It combines live scoring with rankings, completed match history, achievements, bot games and big-screen pub displays.
Who it is for
It is built for anyone who wants a simple way to score 501 matches without paper, calculators or arguments about who is throwing next.
What makes it useful
The app records the match as you play, then turns the game into useful stats such as averages, checkout performance, 180s, ton-plus scores and player history.
Different ways to play
A normal match puts two players on the same scorer and records each visit in turn. Solo Practice concentrates on one player, including ranked sessions, recent-form averages, doubles attempts and personal-best targets. Remote Play lets two trusted players use separate devices and enter only their own scores. Mirror Match creates a computer opponent from a player’s recorded level, so the target develops as the player improves.
Bot games, the daily challenge and the ladder provide repeatable opponents when nobody else is available. They use the same underlying scoring rules, which means the resulting match can still be understood through familiar visits, legs and checkout statistics.
What the statistics mean
The main average is a three-dart average: points scored divided by darts thrown, multiplied by three. The first-nine average isolates the opening nine darts of a leg, while checkout percentage compares successful finishing doubles with recorded attempts. High scores such as 100+, 140+ and 180 are counted separately so a player can see whether better scoring is becoming consistent rather than relying on one exceptional visit.
Practice reporting also compares the current leg and session with earlier recorded performance. Those comparisons are intended as training feedback, not an official handicap or governing-body ranking.
Manual scoring and match control
Darts Match Centre does not claim to detect where a dart landed. A player or scorer enters the visit total, and the application applies the remaining score, bust rules, leg result and turn order. Scores can be protected with a match PIN, and accidental visits can be corrected using the available undo controls.
Optional voice announcements can read scores and useful finishes aloud. They run on the device and can be switched off whenever a quieter scorer is preferred.
Profiles, history and devices
Reserved player profiles keep practice and match history together across sessions. Public boards can show sporting records such as averages, wins, checkouts and achievements; passwords and scorer controls are not displayed on those public pages. The responsive interface is designed for phones at the oche, conventional desktop monitors and wide displays used for live stats or a pub scoreboard.
Who runs Darts Match Centre
Darts Match Centre is owned and operated in the United Kingdom by OutOut, an independent digital publishing project. It is built as a practical, free tool for darts players and pub teams and is not affiliated with the PDC, WDF, Scolia, Sky Sports or any darts equipment manufacturer.
