Your board at home, their board somewhere else, one shared match. Remote Play keeps the turn order and score in sync while each player enters only their own visits.
Remote Play is deliberately simple. Both players use their own physical board and a reserved Darts Match Centre profile. One player creates the match and sends a private invitation link to the other.
Pick the starting score and match length, then invite the exact reserved player name.
The opponent signs in with the invited profile before the match unlocks.
Each player records only their own scores; the server keeps the turn order synchronized.
This is trusted remote scoring. Darts Match Centre does not claim to verify the dartboard with a camera.
The shared match shows both remaining totals, current turn and recent visit trail. Because the score lives on the server rather than one phone, both sides stay on the same game state.
The scoring controls activate for the player whose turn it is.
If you make an entry mistake, the remote scorer includes an undo action for your latest visit.
Completed matches can feed the normal match statistics and history views.
No. Each player can throw at a separate physical board and use their own browser.
Yes. Remote Play currently uses reserved player profiles so each side can authenticate as the invited player.
Not currently. Scores are trusted entries from each player; camera verification is not part of the current mode.
