Start on 121, give yourself up to nine darts and find out whether your scoring, setup and doubles hold together when the target matters.
The session begins on 121. You enter each visit as you throw. Take the checkout and the next target moves up by one; miss it and the target moves back toward 121. The drill records successful finishes and your highest checkout.
A meaningful finish that normally needs scoring, setup and a double.
You have up to three visits to complete the checkout.
Successful targets climb; misses move the current target back toward 121.
Do not judge the session only by whether the final double went in. Notice whether you reached a double, what you left after the first visit and whether your preferred route kept working when the first dart missed.
Avoid turning a good scoring dart into a poor setup by chasing the wrong treble.
When the checkout is not on, leave a number that gives you a familiar two-dart finish.
Confirm the darts used only when the checkout was actually completed.
121 is a common practice target because it forces a mixture of scoring, setup and double-out decisions while still being achievable in three visits.
In this version, a successful checkout moves the target up by one.
The target moves back toward 121 rather than dropping below the starting point.
Keep the session focused with a related scorer, practice mode or training drill.
